“Breast Cancer Surgery and Reconstruction: What’s Right for You” is a unique book about the important surgery and reconstruction choices women face, and the impact of surgery decisions on their health, families, friends, jobs and finances. Published by Rowman & Littlefield in 2016, it is one of the few books on all options about breast surgery and reconstruction, including decisions to stay flat or one-breasted, as well as various breast reconstruction decisions. It was written by Patricia Anstett, a long-time medical writer, with photography by Kathleen Galligan, an Emmy-award-winning photographer. It provides women with new resources about one of the less-discussed issues about breast cancer.
